Keegan Cown
Funeral Director
Keegan B. Cowan is a licensed Funeral Director who began his professional career at Cowan & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services in January 2023. A lifelong resident of Van Wert, Ohio, he is a 2018 graduate of Lincolnview High School. Following graduation, Keegan pursued higher education at Indiana University Fort Wayne before completing his studies at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science in 2022 and also obtained certification in Celebrant Training.
Keegan is married to his wife, Meghan, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at the Fort Wayne Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Together, they reside in Van Wert with their two dogs, Gus, a Mini Schnauzer, and Arthur, a Bernedoodle.
He is actively involved in the community as a member of the Young Professionals of Van Wert, the Van Wert County Historical Society, and the Buckeye Trail Association. In addition to his funeral service career, Keegan worked part-time in fan engagement with the Fort Wayne TinCaps from 2019 to 2026. In his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and cheering on both The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Denver Broncos.

Keegan B. Cowan is a licensed Funeral Director who began his professional career at Cowan & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services in January 2023. A lifelong resident of Van Wert, Ohio, he is a 2018 graduate of Lincolnview High School.
