Jane Alice Keske, 74, passed away Saturday afternoon at her home in Van Wert.
She was born on July 16, 1946, in Janesville, Wisconsin the daughter of the late George C. and Lucille (Hester) Ashman, II. On June 8, 1968, she married Loren G. Keske who survives.
Other family members include her two children, Catherine (Dana) Hoag of Merced, California and Ft. Collins, Colorado and Theresa (Tony) Sberna of Nashville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Marverick Handley, Braeden Handley of Ft. Collins, Carson Sberna, Bennett Sberna and Quinten Sberna all of Nashville; three brothers, George C. (Ruth) Ashman, III of Forest Park, Illinois, John Ashman of Euclid, Ohio, and Bob (Alice) Ashman of Atlanta, Georgia; nieces, Carol Ashman, Joyce Ashman and Laura (Dennis) Brown; a nephew, Brian (Abby) Ashman, and a great niece, Hannah Brown.
Besides her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her son, Carl Keske and a sister-in-law, Mary Ashman.
Jane graduated from Wauwatosa High School in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and held a bachelors degree in elementary education from University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Van Wert with Pastor David To officiating. Interment will follow at Van Wert Woodland Cemetery. Calling hours are 11 a.m. until time of the service all at the Church.
Preferred memorials are to the Schizophrenia International Research Society, Alzheimer’s Disease Research, Trinity United Methodist Church or Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church.
