Diane Estella Black, 87, of Broomfield, Colorado, passed away Wednesday morning, April 12, 2023.
Diane Estella Black was born August 5, 1935 in Lima, Ohio. Her parents were James J. and Irene (Allen) Nichols.
Diane attended York School for 12 years and graduated in 1953.
Diane married Dean L. Black in 1956 at Zion Presbyterian Church . Dean and Diane left immediately after getting married and moved to Tucson, Arizona.
Diane is survived by two sons Eric (Kim) Black and Kevin (Judy) Black. Diane is survived by 3 grandchildren; Cassidy (Steven) Blevins, Shane Black and Chelsea Black, and one great granddaughter Sawyer Grace Blevins.
Dean and Diane lived in Tucson, Arizona until 1966 when they moved to Longmont, Colorado. Dean worked for IBM in Colorado. In 1978 Dean was transferred back to Tucson, Arizona with IBM where they lived until Dean retired in 1993. When Dean retired from IBM in 1993 they moved back to Colorado.
After Dean's passing in 2015, Diane became involved in The Presbyterian Church of Broomfield and PEO Chapter 10.
There will be a graveside service at Tomlinson Cemetery, Mercer County, OH, on April 29, 2023, at 11:30 a.m.
