Carole A Davie

Carole Ann Hunsaker Davie, 75 of Van Wert, died at 3:46 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2018, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born on February 25, 1943, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Harold Thomas and Frances Laura (Ashton) Hunsaker. She was married to Joseph P. Davie who died on October 3, 1991. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Ann Pessefall.

Family survivors include a daughter, Linda Witten McMichael of Van Wert; three step children, Shannon (John) Burklund of Lima, Mitchell (Sherree) Davie of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Tony Davie of West Virginia; twelve grandchildren, Devan Witten, Cari McMichael, Whitney Bigham, Christen Pessefall, Chad Pessefall, Brittney Pessefall, Lakin Burklund, Cody Burklund, Rayne Burklund, Tyson Davie, Jaxon Davie, and Carson Davie; several great grandchildren; a brother DeWayne Hunsaker of Grover Hill; a sister, Helen Hunsaker of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a niece and a nephew.

Carole was a graduate of Grover Hill High School and a member of the Ohio City United Methodist Church. She had retired from Ohio City Manufacturing.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2018, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home. There will be calling hours 5 - 7 p.m., prior to the service.
