Zack Hartman Jr., 76, of Van Wert, died at 11:11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Va Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born August 29, 1936, in Van Wert, the son of the late Zach H. Hartman Sr. and Fay A. (Gaskill) Hartman. He had been married to Cordella (Allen) Hartman. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Conley of Continental and Cheryl (Robert) Campbell and Kevann Ashbaugh, both of Van Wert; two sons, Keith (Deb) Hartman and Joe Hartman, both of Van Wert; two brothers, Gary Hartman and Jerry Hartman, both of Van Wert; three sisters, Carol Parsons of Van Wert, Betsy Ridenour of Westerville and Betty Bressler of Ohio City; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Preferred memorials: ALS Society.
