William E. Prince, Sr., 75 of Van Wert passed away at his home on November 23, 2023.

He was born on October 18, 1948, in Dekalb, Mississippi the son of the Henry Lee Prince and Oneita Prince. On December 22, 1983, he married Becky Jo (Mottinger) Prince who preceded him in death on November 28, 2011.

Bill's family survivors include his children, Shimel Prince of Detroit, MI, Teri Stevens of Van Wert, William E. Prince, Jr. of Van Wert and Nick (April) Prince of Charlotte, NC, Jack Young of Ft Wayne, IN; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Henry Prince of Indiana, Richard Houston of Detroit, MI and Raymond Prince of Mississippi; four sisters, Gladys Turner of Detroit, MI, Gail Grady, Dorothy Carolyn Lofton and Linda Gordon Peller all of Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by a son, Terrance Prince and a step-son, Todd Coil.

Bill worked at Stoneco as a load-operator and retired in 2010, he also loved to fish all the time.

A memorial services will be held at a later date for Bill.
