Wanda M. Wenner, 71, of rural Ohio City, passed away unexpectedly at 3:52 p.m, Wednesday at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. She was born on May 27, 1942, in Rockford, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Grace Helen (Sharp) Pontsler. Family survivors include a daughter, Stacy Lee Jent of Van Wert; a son, Michael Steven (Brenda Sue) Dull of Ohio City; five brothers, Stanley C. (Marcella) Pontsler of Ohio City, Vernon (Shirley) Pontsler of Van Wert, Don (Ethel) Pontsler of Rockford, Lee (Londa) Pontsler of Van Wert and Glenn (Marcile) Pontsler of Jefferson, GA; and four grandchildren, Devin Jent of Charlotte, NC, Alexa Jent of Van Wert; Sydney and Shayna Dull of Ohio City. She was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Alan Dull and a brother, H. Eugene Pontsler. Wanda for a florist at McCoy's Flowers in Van Wert for over 20 years. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Robbins officiating. Calling hours are 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Interment will follow at a later date in Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Radio Station WBCL.
