Timothy Max Taylor, 62, of Van Wert, passed away surrounded by his family at Lima Memorial Hospital Thursday morning following a short illness. He was born on January 18, 1955, in Van Wert, the son of the late Max H. Taylor and Deloris M. (Ford) McMillen. Deloris survives along with her husband, Harvey W. McMillen in Van Wert. Other family members include a son, Timothy R. Taylor of Van Wert; two sisters, Valerie S. (Rev. Gerald) Baker of Beloit, Ohio and Jacqueline (Bryce) Beckman of Van Wert; and a brother, Kenneth Taylor of Van Wert. Tim was a 1974 graduate of Van Wert High School. He had worked at Teleflex for 28 years and recently was employed at Cooper Foods. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017, and Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Gus Christo-Baker and Rev. Gerald Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be calling one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to First United Methodist Church, Van Wert.
