Tammy Marie "Mammy" (Blackmore) Tribolet, 55 of Van Wert, died at 10:04 a.m., Thursday, at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on June 15, 1959, in Hampton, Virginia. She is survived by her mother, Peggy L. Parsons of Van Wert and father and step-mother, Jack R. (Gwenda) Blackmore of Van Wert. On May 13, 1987, she married Bruce Lee Tribolet who survives. Other family survivors include her son, Carl William (Courtney) Walters II, of Cloverdale; two daughters, Tasha (Jon) Okuly of Van Wert and Jessica Walters of Van Wert; four brothers, Timothy Charles (Cathy) Blackmore of Indianapolis, Jeffrey Alan Blackmore of Van Wert, Gregory Scott (Sheri) Blackmore of Van Wert, and Matthew Todd (Tabitha) Blackmore, of Van Wert; one sister, Emily Blackmore of Van Wert; twelve grandchildren, Desiree, Lyric, Peyton, Evan, Keegan, Natalie, Kalum, GaBbriella, Dancia, Jose, Jaydence, Jesse; two great grandsons, Imani, Torryn; her maternal grandmother, Susie Courtney; and a god-child, Tammy Marie Cross. Tammy attended First Friends Church in Van Wert and attended Van Wert High School. She enjoyed bingo at the Knights of Columbus, arrowhead hunting, landscaping, gardening and her dogs. She had a great love of family and cooking for them. Services will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Hamrick officiating. Calling hours are 1 - 6 p.m., also on Monday Preferred memorials are to the YWCA Van Wert County Domestic Violence Shelter.
