Tammy Sue Methot, 49 of Van Wert, died Monday morning, April 22, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on June 13, 1969 in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Floyd Lee Yaney.  On February 14, 2001, she married Paul Vincent Methot, who preceded her in death on August 12, 2013.

Tammy received her master's degree in social work.  She was a graduate of Parkway High School, Defiance College and Wright State University in Celina, Ohio

She is survived by her daughter, Heidi K. Radke of Van Wert; a son, Dustin A. Dent of Ohio; and a grandson, Isaih Dent.

There will be no services.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday, April 26, 9-11 a.m.  at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, Ohio.

Preferred memorials are to the family to help assist in funeral expense.
