Susan J. Riley, 67, of Van Wert, passed away at 7:10 a.m., Sunday at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 17, 1950, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Forrest Pearl "Ike" and Mabel May (Adams) DeLong. She is survived by her two sons, Cory Riley of Van Wert and Andy (Shelly) Riley of Kalida; and three grandchildren, Christian, Cade and Abra Riley. Susan was a graduate of Blue Creek High School and attended Calvary Evangelical Church. She had taught at Calvary Church Pre-School, then was a tech monitor at Van Wert County Hospital. Services will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor W. Clark Williman of Calvary Evangelical Church officiating.
