Steven J. Stahr, 52, of Philadelphia, PA, died at 7:48 p.m., Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Mercy Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was born on May 21, 1963, in Celina, the son of the late Elsie Mae (Miller) Stahr and Jack L. Stahr who survives in Van Wert. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Steven was a 1981 graduate of Van Wert High School and he served in the U.S. Navy for six years. He then worked at the U.S. Navy Shipyard in Philadelphia as a journeyman machinist. Later he worked at various other machine shops in the Philadelphia area. There will be private memorial services at the convenience of the family.
