Shelby Mae Coats, 29, of Ohio City died unexpectedly at her home in Ohio City on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

She was born on December 14, 1994, in Lima, Ohio to the late Michael H. Coats and Sheryl E. (Kline) Coats who survives of Ohio City, Ohio.

Shelby is also survived by her beloved daughters, Kimber and Kora Boldman; one brother, Zachary Coats of Ohio City and a paternal grandmother Joan Coats of Sebring, Florida.

She was employed as a LPN for the past two years at Tranquility Nursing Home of Rockford, Ohio. Shelby was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and a friend to everyone.

Along with Shelby's father, Michael, she was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Coats infancy; maternal grandparents, Margaret and Jesse Kline and paternal grandfather, Howard Coats.

A celebration of life for Shelby will be held at a later date.
