Ronald W. Agler, 74, of Ohio City passed away Sunday morning, August 10, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born on July 14, 1951, in Van Wert the son of the late Lester Carl and Gladys Lucile (Hoffman) Agler.

Survivors include his two sisters, Sharon A. Carr of Van Wert and Bobbie (Mark) Englehart of Antwerp; and several nieces and nephews.

Ron had worked at the Fremont Company and El Monte Plastics in Ohio City. He was a member of the Rockford Eagles and the Rockford American Legion.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2025, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Bevington officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be calling one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Preferred memorials are to the Ohio City Fire Department.
