Rita A. Fowler, 53, of Van Wert, entered into rest Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 6, 2016, at the Inpatient Hospice Center of Van Wert. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt to everyone. Rita was born on March 17, 1962, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert L. and Dorothy (Stant) Seibert. On December 19, 1980, she married Andrew "Jake" Fowler, Sr., who survives. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robbie Seibert, Doug Seibert and Timothy Seibert. Family survivors include her son, Andrew (Kimberly) Fowler, Jr.; two brothers, Robert (Rhonda) Seibert and Paul (Jennifer) Seibert, all of Van Wert; her sister, Marcia (John) Johnson of Celina; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Rita's Life will be held at a later date.
