Richard L. Dawson, 65 of Van Wert., died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his residence in Van Wert, Ohio. He was born on September 4, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late William Herbert and Mary Eileen (Creavenor) Dawson. His widow, Darlene preceded him in death. Richard retired from I & K in Delphos, Ohio. Family survivors include his son, Richard Mullins; daughter, Darla Durand; three brothers, William H. Dawson, Jr of Convoy; Gary L. Dawson of Van Wert, and Bryan H. Dawson of Van Wert; and a sister, Kathy J. Wieman of Convoy. He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas. No visitation of services are planned.
