Phil J. Simindinger, 60, was found dead Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his home in Ohio City.

He was born on January 14, 1960, in Van Wert the son of the late Richard Eugene Simindinger and Thelma Mae "Tootie" (Wiseman) Allen. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Lee Allen.

Family survivors include his daughter, Heather Smith of Lewstown, Ohio; a son Cody Simindinger of Berne, Indiana; a step-sister, Nancy J. (Kurt) Muntzinger of Van Wert; and a step-brother, Rick L. Allen of Van Wert.

Phil was a 1978 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had been a driver for Kerns Ford Lincoln in Celina.

There will be no services or visitation.
