Patty A. Hileman, 80, of Glenmore, passed away at 6:18 a.m., Sunday, at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. She was born on January 26, 1935, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Doyt and Ruby (Clouse) Hunter. On October 18, 1953, she married Edwin R. Hileman who preceded her in death on July 8, 2006. Family survivors include three daughters, Brenda Smith of Van Wert, Ronda (Alex) Sinning of Ohio City, and Deb (Mike) Bagley of Fort Myers, Florida; eight grandchildren, Jason (Kerri) Krugh, Jennifer (Sean) Kennedy, Joseph (Joy) Krugh, Joshua (Leslie) Krugh, Jared (Jessica) Sinning, Destinee (Andy) Knittle, Colby (Amanda) Black, and Cameron Bagley; twenty-five great grandchildren; a sister, Judy (Ron) Lautzenheiser of Van Wert; and a brother-in-law, Robert M. (Sandy) Hileman of Ohio City. Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two children, Carla Hileman and Randy Hileman and two grandchildren, Travis Scheidt and Nikki Sinning. Patty was a 1953 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Schumm. She retired from the J.C. Penney Company in Van Wert. She was a member of the Hyler Chapter #432, Order of the Eastern Star, Ohio City. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffery L. Patterson of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday 1 - 8 p.m. Preferred memorials are to the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center.
