Patricia Louise (Seekings) Bigham, 87, of Van Wert passed away at 11 a.m., Saturday at VanCrest Health Care Center in Van Wert. She was born on April 2, 1931, in Van Wert the daughter of late Thomas Seekings and Mary Josephine Hurley. On September 4, 1949, she married Lee Bigham, Jr., who died on January 21, 2013. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Andrew Bigham who died May 17, 1975 and a sister Jackie Mozingo. Family survivors include her three children, Paul E. (Elrhea) Bigham of Van Wert, Jay Bigham of Fort Wayne, and Anne Barga of San Luis Obispo, California; six grandchildren, Victor, Tammy and Erik Bigham, Stacie Christle, Anthony Gardner and Gina Barga; five great grandchildren, Kylie and Jude Christle and Alex, Matthew and Bryce Bigham; a brother, Roy (Mary Ann) Hurley of Van Wert; and two sisters, Josephine Hurley and Mary (Orley) O'Daffer all of Van Wert. Patricia was a seamstress and had worked at Van Wert Manufacturing and Ohio City Manufacturing. She was a faithful blood donor for the American Red Cross having received a 15-gallon donor mark. Services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home. There will be calling hours 1 - 3 p.m., Tuesday. Preferred memorials are to the Red Cross Blood Donor program or the Brumback Library.
