Paris Woodrow Eastridge, Jr., 85, passed away on Saturday morning, July 12, 2025, at his home peacefully surround by his loving family.
He was born on December 17, 1939 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Paris Woodrow Eastridge, Sr. and Ina L. (Dunlap) Eastridge. On July 3, 1958, Paris married JoAnn (Allen) Eastridge who survives of Celina, Ohio.
Paris is survived by two children: Gary Keith (Jennifer) Eastridge of Brooklyn, Michigan and Libby Eastridge of Ohio City, Ohio; five grandchildren, Natasha Eastridge of Brooklyn, MI, Jason (Amanda) Smith of Battle Creek, MI, Kyle Johnston of Brownstown, MI, Ted Johnston of Michigan and Travis (Clarissa) Johnston of San Antonio, TX; three great grandchildren, Nora and Brayden Smith and Dylan Johnston; one sister, Mary Muncy of Seth, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Willis Eastridge and James Eastridge and one sister, Catherine Moody.
Paris worked at the Ford Motor Company for over 30 years, working on the production line at the Wayne Assembly plant in Michigan. He and JoAnn attended the Olive Branch Church of God in Ohio City and was also a member of the Local UAW #900.
A funeral service will be held at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, with Pastor Tyler Watson officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to the American Diabetes Association.
