Norma Jean (Hurless) Harmon, 67, of Willshire Township, died at 9:16 a.m., Friday at the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Willshire Township on November 7, 1945, the daughter of the late Harold Wilson and Pauline (Foster) Hurless. On February 23, 1963, she married Larry D. Harmon who passed away on June 29, 2012. Jean was employed at Crestview Local Schools for over 37 years recently serving as a teacher's aide. She is survived by her three children, Tina (Ronald) Waltmire of Convoy, Jeff (Angie) Harmon of Van Wert, and Kevin Harmon of Van Wert; six grandchildren, Josh, Alison and Jacob Harmon, Sydney, Reghan, and Griffen Waltmire; one brother, Ivan Harold Hurless of Fort Wayne; and two sisters, Mary Ruskaup of Van Wert and Marlene (Dennis) Lobsiger of Decatur, Indiana. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Wilson "Shag" Hurless, Don Hurless and Paul Hurless and two sisters, Alice Marcile Oechsle and Dorothy Poling. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery in Willshire Township. Calling hours are Monday 1 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Preferred memorials are to the Wren Ball Park Association or the Wren Fire Dept. - EMS.
