Nathen E. Goodwin, 25, of Wren, died at 9:44 p.m., Wednesday at the St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born on November 14, 1988, in Coldwater, Ohio. His parents, David Ernest Goodwin of Wren and Janie Jo (Rogers) Cochran of Willshire, survive. Other family members include his daughter, Madilyn M. Goodwin; a brother, Bradley W. Goodwin of San Diego, CA; and a sister, Courtney Goodwin of Wren. Nathen was a 2008 graduate of Parkway High School and was employed as a painter at Fleetwood in Decatur. He was a member of Van Wert Moose Lodge #1320 and American Legion Post #508 of Rockford. There will be calling hours 2 - 8 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home. Private services and interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to the Madilyn M. Goodwin Trust Fund.
