Obituary

Natalie Ann Campbell, 63, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 29, 2026, in Van Wert, Ohio, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 29, 1962, in Warren, Pennsylvania, to the late Archie Kenneth Campbell and Arletta Jean Campbell (Hoovler).

Natalie was the youngest of six children and was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest brother, Denny Campbell.

She leaves behind her daughter, Ashley Nicole Ross (Andrew), and her granddaughters, Evelyn and McKenzie. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenny (Maria), Bruce (Becky), and David Campbell, and her sister, Donna Jean (Ed) Johnson, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

Natalie proudly served her country as a veteran of the United States Army. Her life was one of resilience and perseverance. After overcoming struggles with alcohol, Natalie celebrated 13 years of sobriety—a milestone she was deeply proud of. Determined to build a brighter future, she returned to school and graduated from Ivy Tech and Trine University, earning certification as a Community Health Worker. She went on to serve her community through her work with Engaging Solutions, where she was passionate about helping others.

Natalie found peace and happiness in the outdoors. She loved kayaking and eagerly anticipated her annual camping trips with family and lifelong friends from her hometown. Those who knew her will remember her strength, her determination, and her ability to keep moving forward despite life's challenges.

In accordance with Natalie's wishes, no formal memorial service will be held. The weekend after the 4th of July is the annual camping trip she loved so much. It is only fitting that her close friends and family will spread her ashes along the Allegheny River, a place that held special meaning to her. Natalie's journey was marked by courage, growth, and unconditional love for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
