Nancy DeCamp, 64 of Van Wert died at 7:04 p.m., Tuesday September 3, 2013 at the C.H.P. Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. She was born on May 4, 1949 in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Franklin Howard Doan and Ruby Emma (Cowgill), surviving of Van Wert. Nancy was employed at Federal Mogul for over 25 years. She was a member of the Ohio City United Methodist Church; a 1967 graduate of Ohio City Liberty High School; member of the United Steel Workers Local #14742 and had served as secretary; and a member of the American Legion Post #178 Ladies Auxiliary of Van Wert. Family survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Trent and Amy DeCamp of Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Alyssa Young of Van Wert; sister, Annelle (Larry) Reynolds of Spencerville, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Katie DeCamp, Natalie DeCamp, and Brooke Young. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 6, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Kevin Wilcox of the Ohio City United Methodist Church. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City, Ohio. Memorial contribution to the C.H.P.-Inpatient Hospice Center.
