Matthew Duane Beech, 60, passed away Saturday morning at his residence in Scott, Ohio.

He was born on October 9, 1963, in Van Wert the son of the late Harold and Betty (Myers) Beech. On July 4, 2006, he married the former Sara Rose Hester who also preceded him in death on October 27, 2022.

Family survivors include his four children, Sharon (Jason) Trentman of Scott, Gwinsalena (Matthew) Armentrout of Waynesfield, Ohio, Lisa Perry of Van Wert, and Michael Landwehr of Kings, North Carolina; three brothers, Mark (Tracy) Beech, Mitch Beech and Merritt Beech all of Scott; and thirteen grandchildren.

Matthew had worked for 27 years at Tecumseh Box Company in Van Wert and the last two years at Cooper Foods. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, hunting, and watching auto racing.

There will be calling hours 1 - 5 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home.
