Mary Lue Krugh, 86, of Ohio City, passed away at 11:47 p.m., Saturday at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. She was born on July 9, 1928, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late John Elroy and Grace Elma (High) Prichard. On September 13, 1947, she married Ned D. Krugh who survives. Other family members include two daughters, Vicki (Stan) Nartker of Dublin and Pamela (Danny) Harpster of Ostrander, Ohio; two sons, Gary (JoLyn) Krugh of Ohio City and David (Denise) Krugh of Celina; one sister, Ardyth Bennett of Sun City, Florida; one brother, Max (Margaret) Prichard of Fort Wayne, Indiana; seventeen grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Troy Reindel; one sister, Thelma Custer; and four brothers, Wilbur R. and Von E. who were killed in World War II, Dale, and Don Prichard. Mary Lue was a 1946 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and member of the Ohio City United Methodist Church where she served as church organist for 60 years and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a retired district manager for Avon Products having worked there for 20 years. She enjoyed garage sales, cooking, baking and especially planning events for her family. There will be calling hours Wednesday, May 20, 2015, 3 - 7 p.m., at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Preferred memorials are to the Ohio City United Methodist Church or the donor's choice.
