Mary Alice Kaiser, 84, of Van Wert, passed away at 6:40 p.m., Saturday at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born on June 12, 1932, in Ridge Township the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Mosier) O'Leary. On September 24, 1955, she married Donald Leroy Kaiser who also preceded her in death on December 28, 2000. Family survivors include three daughters, Karen Hoverman of Van Wert, Carol (Harold) Smith of Van Wert, and Sharon (Bradley) Waite of Chambersburg, PA; one son, Dennis Kaiser of Grove Port, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and one great grandson. Mary Alice had worked at the Marsh Foundation and with her husband in his service station. She was a member of Auglaize Chapel Church of God where she belonged to the Women of the Church of God and was an active volunteer in the church food pantry. There will be calling hours Thursday 3 - 8 p.m., at Cowan & Son Funeral Home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Preferred memorials are to the Family.
