Mary Florene Bigham of Ohio City went home to be with her Savior Thursday, Aug. 3 at 10:17 p.m. at The Gardens of Celina. She was born December 7, 1931 in Ohio City, the daughter of Clarence Bynon Bolenbaugh and Rea Agnes (Taylor) Bolenbaugh. On Aug. 18, 1951 she married Roger Lee Bigham, who preceded her in death on May 22, 1999. She is survived by nine children: Kathy (Jeff) Keller of Ohio City, Alan Bigham of Ohio City, Charles (Debbie) Bigham of Ohio City, Linda Bigham of Van Wert, Marvin (Kathy) Bigham of Ohio City, Steve and Sue Bigham of Ohio City, Ladonna Senters of Van Wert, Martha Bigham of Van Wert and Laura (Vince) Morgan of Ohio City. She had 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two older siblings: Bob (Lois) Bolenbaugh of Ohio City, and Betty Archer of Kettering, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a younger brother Glen Bolenbaugh and a great-grandson, Logan Bigham. She was a member of Mt. Zion Bible Church in rural Rockford, Ohio until it closed its doors. She then became a member of First Baptist Church in Van Wert and enjoyed being a part of the JOY Club, Ladies' Bible Studies and Sunday school. Mary cherished her family and was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed traveling around the United States with her children, spent countless hours quilting, sewing and investing time with her children and grandkids. Visitation will be at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert Monday 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Van Wert with the Rev. Steve A. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City. Preferred memorials are to State of the Heart Care or First Baptist Church of Van Wert.
