Martha Jane Kirchenbauer, 87, of Celina, passed away at 7:14 p.m., Sunday at the Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 22, 1926, in Decatur, Indiana, the daughter of the late Raymond and Evangeline Eyanson. On November 29, 1947, she married Bill D. Kirchenbauer who survives. Other family members include her daughter, Darlene (Don) Mottinger of Ohio City, a brother Raymond (Bunsun) Eyanson of Ohio City; three grandchildren, Dewayne (Amanda) Mottinger of Ohio City, Dana Mottinger of Ohio City, and Denice (Jon) Ringler of Paulding; three great grandchildren, Mallory and Mryssa Mottinger and Austen Joseph; a sister-in-law, Roberta; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Martha is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Castle and four brothers, Bob, Theodore, Bernie and Freddy Eyanson. Martha was life member and past of president of V.F.W. Auxiliary, Post 5803, Van Wert and a charter member of Rockford Eagles. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Bevington officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, 2 - 7 p.m. Preferred memorials are to the Mercer County Council on Aging, 217 Riley Street, Celina.
