Marlene Jackson Partin, of Ohio City, Ohio, passed away in the early hours of May 26, 2021. She was 72 years of age when the Lord called her home. She was born in Pineville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Gillis and Roseinna Simpson Jackson, on April 8, 1949. Marlene was a follower of the Primitive Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Trina Renee Partin; brothers, John Henry Jackson, George Jackson, Eugene Jackson, Gillis Jackson, Jr., Clayborne Jackson and Earl Jackson. Marlene is survived by her husband of 54 years, Johnny Partin; sons, Jeffrey Partin (Shawn), and Robert Partin (Bobby); sister, Alene Osborne; brother, Donald Jackson; grandchildren, Emma Jo Partin, Anna Partin, and Conner Partin; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the Family Home at 163 Ford Lawson Road on Laurel Hill with Elder Ricky Dorton and Elder Randall Miracle presiding. Burial will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery on Ford Lawson Road, Pineville, KY.
