Marjorie Juanita Miller, 94, formerly of Van Wert, passed away at 8:40 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home. She was born on November 22, 1923, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Lester and Elva (Bowersock) Wortman. On October 24, 1941, she married Kenneth R. Miller who survives at Country Inn near Latty. Other family survivors include two daughters, Betty (Doug) Dunno of Fort Wayne and Nancy Miller of Scott; a son, Larry (Deborah) Miller of Van Wert; a daughter-in-law, Marty Miller of New Haven, Indiana; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by a son, Leland and a sister, Esther Michael. Marjorie had been active in the hospitality ministry at Trinity Friends Church and later was a member of Victory Church (Church of God) where she faithfully served as a greeter. She and Kenneth were member of the Christian Motorcycle Club. Marjorie was a loving wife and mother. Services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Victory Church, US 127 south of Van Wert. There will be time for friends and family at 2 p.m., a memorial service at 3 p.m., and supper at 5 p.m. Preferred memorials are to the Victory Church in Van Wert.
