Maria A. Tracey, 93, of Convoy, died at 12:14 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. Maria was born on August 25, 1924, in Binghamton, NY to Willard and Mary Fox. She was married to Andrew J. Tracey. She had a son Michael J. Tracey. All have preceded Maria in death. Maria lived most of her adult life in Florida and lead a very active life. She loved spending her time crocheting things, making crafts for her grandchildren, reading all sorts of books, and doing word searches. She also loved Avon and going on trips with her friends. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Jackie (Ed) Tracey-Burwell of Convoy; two grandchildren, Andrew (Debra) Tracey and Amy (Todd) Terrell of Pekin, Indiana; seven great grandchildren, Rebecca Tracey, Madison Tracey, Lauren Tracey, Andrew Tracey, Jackson Tracey, Mercedes Terrell and Michael Terrell. Mrs. Tracey was retired from Brown & Brown as an accounting manager. Maria loved spending time with her family. She also volunteered at her church and hospital Private family service and burial will be held at a later time at Willshire Cemetery, Willshire, Ohio. Preferred memorials are to the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center. Arrangements are handled by Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert.
