Luetta Jellison, 90, formerly of Union Township, passed away at 4:10 a.m., Tuesday, at the VanCrest Health Care Center in Van Wert. She was born on January 26, 1923, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late Glenn C. and Clara Etta (Kline) Brubaker. On January 17, 1953, she married Len M. Jellison who preceded her in death on January 11, 1972. Family members include her daughter, Catherine A. (Steve) Matthews of Paulding; a son, Donald L. (Karen) Jellison of Van Wert; five grandchildren, Jason Aaron (Ann) Waltmire, Michael Andrew (Jan) Waltmire, Patrick Allen (Kristina) Waltmire, Erica Lynne (Brad) Petrie, and Leslie Diane (Eric) Miller; and sixteen great grandchildren Cassandra Marie Waltmire, Connor Richard Waltmire, Caleb Len Waltmire, Maddisyn Marie Waltmire, Mason Andrew Waltmire, Hailey Marie Waltmire, Hayden Michael Wayne Waltmire, Holden Scott Waltmire, Hunter Allen Waltmire, Selah Rae Miller, Elijah Keith Miller, Leya Lynn Miller, Brady Stephen Petrie, Brooks Joseph Petrie, Evelyn Fae Petrie and Brant Leland Petrie. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Mary Brubaker and three brother, Merle H., Gus C., and Max Brubaker. Mrs. Jellison was a home maker and farm wife and a long time member of Calvary Evangelical Church. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Clark Williman officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 2 - 7 p.m. Preferred memorials are to Calvary Evangelical Church.
