Lois Edith Wyatt, 96, passed away at the Country Inn Enhanced Living Center, rural Paulding at 6:55 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2013. She was born on October 26 1916, at the Ravenwood Plantation, Nottoway County, Virginia, the daughter of the late John Edward and Myrtle Rose (DeCamp) Wistner. On February 23, 1935, she married Fred D. Wyatt who preceded her in death on April 13, 2007. Family survivors include her daughter, Clara Rose (Raymond) Hussey of Defiance, Ohio; a sister, Virginia Gudakunst of Van Wert; seven grandchildren, Ricky Hussey, Robin Castillo and Rhonda (David) Casler all of Defiance; Randi (Virgil) Hall of Ney, OH; Kendra (David) German of Van Wert; Arron Wyatt and Denise Keehan of Lima; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great granddaughters and 1 great great grandson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Ray Wyatt; a brother, Gerald R. "Gale" Wistner; four sisters, Gladys L. Scarbrough, Ethel M. Etter, Geneva B. Welch and Rosa A. "Nellie" Sanderson; five half brothers, Thomas, Oscar, Vernon, Clarence Wistner and Dewey Gillespie; and five half sisters Pearl Tribolett, Bess Freshwater, Hazel Fortman, Rylma Marks and Esther Fish. Edith was a homemaker, gardener, seamstress and farmer's wife in Grover Hill until moving to Country Inn in Paulding in 2005. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Grover Hill. A grave side service and burial will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Middle Creek Cemetery, south of Grover Hill, Ohio, with Chaplain Ron Johnson officiating. Preferred memorials are to the Community Health Professionals Hospice - Paulding.
