Lela Juanita Brown, 78, of New Carlisle, Ohio and formerly of Greenville, passed away Wednesday evening at the Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born on August 10, 1940, in Dayton the daughter of the late Clyde Ellsworth and Helen Juanita (Huffman) Stahl. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Ellsworth Stahl, Jr.

Family survivors include a daughter, Cathy Peters of New Carlisle; a son, Stephen (Susan) Rieder of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Paula (Joe) Radin of Salem, Ohio and Judy (Tom) Masters of Dayton; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Lela had attended Faith Baptist Church in Greenville and the Colonial Baptist Church in New Carlisle.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. Interment will follow at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are 11 a.m., Tuesday until time of service.

Preferred memorials are to the Colonial Baptist Church in New Carlisle.
