L. Ivadore (Voltz) Myers, 99 of Mt. Gilead, Ohio and formerly of rural Ohio City, died at 8:05 p.m., Monday July 18, 2016 at the Morrow Manor Nursing Home in Chesterville, Ohio. She was born on June 21, 1917 in Van Wert County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Rudolph Howard and Harriet Ethel (Hey) Voltz. On January 30, 1948, she married Robert Clarence Myers, who preceded her in death on May 16, 2007. Ivadore had worked at Marsh Supermarket in Van Wert. She was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church in America; 1935 graduate of Wren High School; former 4-H Advisor; and was loved by her family and her many friends. Family survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary Lynn and Linda Myers of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; daughter, Robin Jane Myers of Denver, Colorado; sister, Rose Marie McClure of rural Van Wert; granddaughter, Heather (Kyle) Kanagy; and four great- grandchildren, Julia, Hannah, Veronica, & Nicholas Kanagy. She preceded in death by her son, Gregory H. Myers on Feb 3, 1950; two brothers, Robert Voltz and Billy Voltz; and two sisters, E. Patricia Schaadt and Virginia Ernestine Meyette. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Paul's Reformed Church in America, officiated by Pastor Chad Strabbing. No visitation is planned. Interment is at the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery, Harrison Township, Van Wert County, Ohio.
