Katherine Rose Myers, 53, of Van Wert passed away at 6:45 p.m., Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Mercy Health Care Center in Lima.

She was born on March 7, 1968, in Fort Wayne, Indiana the daughter of Frederick Allen and Mary Ann (Pichon) Place. She was married to Jerald David Myers who survives.

Other family members include her daughters, Amber Lynn Pancake and Adriana Rose Myers both of Van Wert; three brothers, Anthony Edward (Mikkie) Place of Davenport, Iowa, Kenneth Stephen (Marlene Dian) Place of Van Wert, and Joseph Allen Place of Uniondale, Indiana; two sisters, Yvonne Marie Place of Cincinnati and Ann Monique Edgel of Uniondale; and two grandchildren, Andrew David Klewer and Madison Nicolle Pancake.

There will be a celebration of Katherine's life be held 1 - 5 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Administration Building of the Van Wert County Fair Grounds.
