Judith Kay Benschneider, 71, went to be with the angels on October 2, 2013. She was born to the late Robert and Norma (Draving) Hesher on March 28, 1942. Survivors include two daughters, Terri (Lyle) Ulrey of Van Wert and Lanette (Jarrod) Dossen of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Chris and Nick Ulrey, Blake, Branson and Bree Dossen; a sister Carol (Paul) Arthur of Van Wert; one niece; and two nephews. Judy was a devoted member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Van Wert. She enjoyed spending time with family, eating out with her many friends and staying active with the aide of her beloved Jack Russell, Libby. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2013, at St. Marks Lutheran Church with Rev. William Haggis officiating. Interment will follow at Van Wert Woodland Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday 1 - 5 p.m., at Cowan & Son Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services Monday at the Church. Preferred memorials are to the St. Marks Lutheran Church or the VanCrest Activities Fund.
