Jordan Michael Black, 28, died at 7:41 p.m., Wednesday at the Van Wert County Hospital. He was born on October 15, 1987, in Coldwater, Ohio, the son of Tammy L. (Haight) Miller of Van Wert and James D. Black of Willshire. Other family survivors include his daughter, Aaliyah Black; three brothers, Cyle Black of Van Wert, Tony (Jessica) Black of Hawaii, and Nick Schmidt of Texas; a sister, Kayla (Lucas) Smith of Indiana; grandparents, James & Pam Black of Van Wert and Gail Davis of Van Wert; and his great grandmother, Helen Eberle of Ottoville. Jordan attended Van Wert High School and had been employed at Haviland Drainage Products. Private services will be held for the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
