Jo Louise Mosier, 81, of rural Ohio City, died at 8:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the C.H.P.- Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert, Ohio. She was born on January 14, 1935 in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Creighton and Ada Margaret (Nichols) Zeigler. On September 28, 1957, she married Robert E. Mosier, who preceded her in death on January 11, 2014. Jo had been a nurses's aide for Drs Ayres, Marxen, Burns, Diller, & Cox, all in Van Wert. She then retired from Chrylser-Amplex in 1990 after 19 ½ years in Human Resources. She was also co-owner of Westwood Car Wash in Van Wert, Celina, and Auburn, IN as well as a long time farm wife. She was a member of Kingsley United Methodist Church; a 1953 graduate of Mendon-Union High School; and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Van Wert Chapter. Family survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Clint E. and Amy Mosier of Bluff City, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy J. (Kent) Kundert of Ohio City; brothers, Tom (Nancy) Zeigler of Troy, Paul (Polly) Zeigler of Dublin, and Bill (Gloria) Zeigler of Montezuma; two sisters, Mary (Art) Finnegan of Indian Lake, and Carol (Harold) Welker of Troy; two grandchildren, Cameran Kundert & Kurt (Danielle) Kundert, both of Ohio City; three great-grandchildren, Kale, Katie, & Karson Kundert; and brother-in-law, Wayne Gamble of Van Wert. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Zeigler & David Zeigler; and sister, Phyllis Gamble. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 16, 11:00 a.m. at Kingsley United Methodist Church, (15482 Mendon Road,) Van Wert, officiated by Rev. Wayne Kargas. Visitation is scheduled from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow the services at Mendon Cemetery in Mendon, Ohio.
