Janice Rose McClure, 81, of Van Wert, was lovingly gathered into her Lord's presence on Jan. 6, 2015. She was born on September 25, 1933, in Grover Hill, the daughter of the late Teddy Burland and Dora Morrine (Mumma) McClure. She was also preceded in death by a nephew and brother-in-law. Family survivors include three sisters, Sylvia (Fred) Wittung of Van Wert, Nancy (Donley) Bell of Van Wert and Claudia Klingaman of Craigville, Indiana; two nephews, C.J. Kingaman and Matthew Bell; three nieces, Cindy Dickman, Jardeen Barz, and Kristina Bell; two great nephews; and two great nieces. She also has many family-like friends from VanCrest Nursing Home. Services will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2015, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Clark Williman of Calvary Evangelical Church officiating. There will be calling hours 4 - 6 p.m., on Friday. Interment will take place at Middle Creek Cemetery near Grover Hill. Preferred memorials are to Gideons International or State of the Heart Hospice.
