Jack N. Goins, 64, of rural Cecil, died at his residence Friday morning. He was born on February 11, 1953, in Van Wert, the son of the late Gladstone and Mercedes (Hosbrooks) Goins. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Jim. Family survivors include his son, Nathon (Jennifer) Goins of Van Wert; his daughter, Jasmine Goins of Convoy; a brother, Jerry Goins, Sr., of Haviland; a sister, Kay Mason of Van Wert; and four grandchildren, Brock, Storm, Skyler, and Landon. Jack retired from General Electric in Fort Wayne after 25 years of service. There will be a memorial service at 5:30 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert. Memorials are to the donor's choice.
