Franklin Earl Rison, Jr., 54, of Paulding and formerly of Van Wert, died at 9:58 p.m., Monday at his residence. He was born on October 23, 1959, in Van Wert, the son of the late Franklin Earl and Lou Ann (Emery) Rison, Sr. On November 20, 1996, he married the former Kathy Ann Friedrich who survives. Other family members include his five children, Scott Rison of Van Wert, Bobbie Jo Rison of Coldwater, Tina (Jake) Gallimore of Van Wert, Bobby (Brittany) Gilbert of Van Wert, and Maria (Shane Alvarado) Gilbert of Paulding, OH; four sisters, Brenda Jean (Mike) Williams, Julie (Larry) Panning, Cheryl Duncan all of Van Wert and Ruth (Mike) Bell of Fort Wayne, IN; one brother, Jimmy (Becky) Rison of Fort Jennings; a half-sister, Sue Anderson of Lima; a half-brother, Bobby Allen of Van Wert; and fourteen grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Dennis Sudduth. Frank had worked at T&R Pallet in Middle Point. Services will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Don Coleman officiating. Calling hours are 3 - 7 p.m., Friday. Preferred memorials are to the Family.
