Everett E. Stidham, 62, of Van Wert, passed away at 4 a.m., Thursday, at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born in Van Wert on December 30, 1951, to Bonnie R. Stidham surviving of Van Wert and the late Everett Stiham. On August 22, 2003, he married the former Debbie A. (Mayes) who survives. Other family member include two sons, Shawn (Jade) Wisener of Wapakoneta and Josh Wisener of Celina; three grandchildren, Cayson Allen, Hollyn and Bentley Wisener; a brother, Mike Stidham of Wren; and three sisters, Debbie Wiess of Willshire, Mary Catherine Carpenter of Van Wert, and Verda Napier of St. Marys. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Stidham. Everett was a 1969 graduate of Van Wert High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Robert G. Longwell Post 5803, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Van Wert. He was employed at Eaton Corp. for 14 years. There will be a time of visitation 1 - 4 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the V.F.W. Post on North Shannon Street in Van Wert. Preferred memorials are to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
