Evelyn Louise Price, 91, of Union Township, passed away at 3:07 a.m., Tuesday at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home. She was born on March 17, 1923, in eastern Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Betty Fike. On October 5, 1945, she married John Andrew Price who preceded her in death on July 18, 2012. She is also preceded in death by three sisters, Elsie, Mary Jane and Ruth and three brothers, Fred, Frank and David. Family survivors are her son, John S. Price of Mendon and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She had worked as a secretary and office manager at several area businesses including Federal Mogul and several medical offices. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2014, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Philip E. Zielinski officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio City Woodland Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 4 - 7 p.m. at Cowan & Son Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the Church. Preferred memorial are to the Van Wert Manor Activity Fund or Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
