Evelyn Martha Kirchenbauer, 82, of Coldwater and formerly of Ohio City, died at 6:09 p.m., Monday at the Briarwood Manor Nursing Home in Coldwater. She was born on January 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Halder Baugest and Roxie (Clouse) Woods. On February 4, 1950, she married Arnold H. Kirchenbauer who passed away on April 17, 2006. She is survived by two daughters, Karen K. (James R.) Kelch of Versailles, Ohio and Laurie A. (David) Bladen of Coldwater; five grandchildren, Katie and Alex Kelch, Maureen and Olivia Bladen, and Nathan (Lindsey) Bladen; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Marie Tindall of San Francisco, CA and Ilo Ebright of Celina. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charlie James Woods, Elmer T. Woods, Halder Eugene Woods and William Woods and two sisters, Cora Blanche Phillips and Luella Mae McHugh. Evelyn was a 1949 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School. She retired from Federal Mogul in Van Wert after 37 years of service and she was a member of Silver Seals. She had attended St. Paul's Reformed Church in American in Harrison Township. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Douglas R. Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 5 - 8 p.m. Preferred memorials are to the State of the Heart Hospice in Coldwater or Trinity Lutheran Bell Tower Church of Versailles, Ohio.
