Esther Eileen Germann, 88 of rural Van Wert, died at 9:10 a.m., Saturday August 22, 2015 at the Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. She was born on October 7, 1926, in Pleasant Mills, Indiana, the daughter of the late Rufus Case. She married LeRoy R. Germann, who preceded her in death on May 22, 2013. Esther was a member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church in rural Van Wert. She had worked at Colonial Restaurant and raised sulky racehorses for many years. Family survivors include her children, Delores (Ronald) Hartman, Patty (Paul) Williams, and Danny (Alycia) Germann all of Van Wert; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, David M. Crisenberry and Rodney E. Stegaman. There will be private services at the convenience of the Family. Interment is at the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery in Harrison Township, Van Wert County, Ohio.
