Eileen Lucier, 84, of Van Wert passed away Saturday afternoon, September 3, 2022.

She was born on August 17, 1938, in Van Wert County the daughter of the late William Emery and Pauline Gertrude (Hileman) Price.

Family survivors include her daughter, Linda Lucier of Van Wert; four brothers, Don E. Price of Michigan, Roger E. Price of Tennessee, Paul (Doris) Price of Venedocia, and Lewis (Elaine) Price of Venedocia; sixteen nieces and nephews; 22 great nieces and nephews; and 34 great great nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Louise Mollenkopf; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Price and Ruth Price.

Eileen was a 1956 graduate of York High School, a graduate of The Ohio State University, and received her Masters of Education from Bowling Green State University. She taught school for 34 years mostly at Lincolnview Elementary. Following retirement, she taught at the Lincolnview Bible House for several years.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Trinity Friends Church with Pastor Matt McGovern officiating. Interment will follow at Venedocia Cemetery. Calling hours are 12 noon to time of service on Wednesday also at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lincolnview Bible Board or Trinity Friends Church Missions.
