Donald E. Lanier, 95, of Van Wert and formerly of South Charleston, West Virginia, went on to be with our Lord on June 16, 2017, at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. Survivors include two daughters, Delores A. (Mike) Jackson and Cathy L. Lanier all of Van Wert; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by three children, Donald E. Lanier, Gerald E. Lanier and Amy L. Sowards. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2017 at Graceland Memorial Park in South Charleston, WV. No services will be held locally.
