IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Destiny Rayne
Kennedy
May 31, 2016
Destiny Rayne passed away in the arms of her mother at 10:28 a.m., Tuesday at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center after a 20-month battle with DIPG. She was a fighter until her last breath. Destiny was a sassy little princess with a giant heart for helping others. She loved playing with her brother, Braxton, going to school and making cards for other "sick kids." She also spent many hours coloring with her mommy and her Aunt Brianne. She was born on November 2, 2010, in Van Wert, the daughter of Stacie Stahl of Van Wert and Jeffrey Kennedy of Haviland. Other family survivors include her two brothers, Braxton Stahl at home and Jaycee Kennedy of Van Wert; Brian L. and Sandi Stahl of Dyersburg, TN and Deb Kennedy; great grandparents, Kenneth & Joan Stahl and Peg Schwartz; aunts and uncles, Amanda Bilderback (Jon Brewer), Brianne Stahl, Robb (Diana) Bilderback, Anthony Bilderback (Shannon Thompson); and many cousins. Destiny graduated preschool at Headstart earlier in May and had been baptized at Kingsley United Methodist Church. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Kingsley United Church with Pastor Gary Ginter officiating. Calling hours will be 9 - 12 noon, also at the Church. Preferred memorials are to the Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation or Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
